day 20 & 21 - a new obsession

i have been baking for 2 days. for 2 days i've been searching for recipes, learning conversions, educating myself with baking lingo and whipping up a chocolate storm. because yes, i have found a new obsession. one day i woke up & said it is time to bake. which is why for 2 days i had neglected my august break project & even as i picked up the camera today, i couldn't make my chocolate & flour covered fingers take a decent shot of my freshly baked dark chocolate orange cupcakes. which is absolutely yum. a recipe which i'll continue to play with just because i can :)

day 19 - where have the waves gone

you see, august is supposed to be monsoon here on our little island. but it's been one hot day after the other with rare occasions of monsoon weather. it's pretty to have the sun out but i do miss the waves. i hope they come back, even for a day or two. i miss being on my board & surfing. this beachbaby needs to play in the water! :)

day 18 - it also rains in paradise
